Norwich’s summer spending spree is set to continue, with reports breaking on Tuesday night in Sweden that Martin Olsson is set to become a Canary.
According to reports in Scandinavia, Martin Olsson is pencilled in for a medical at Carrow Road on Tuesday night, after Blackburn accepted a fee of £2 million for the defender.
25-year-old left-back Olsson is poised to pen a 4-year deal with Norwich.
Should the deal come to fruition, it will complete a busy few days for Norwich boss Chris Hughton after Leroy Fer also signed on the dotted line for the East Anglians. Moreover, Norwich will have a fresh look next season with Ricky van Wolfswinkel leading the line up-top, while rumours keep circulating that PSV forward Ola Toivonen is also on the club’s shopping list.
Martin Olsson has been at Blackburn since 2006, and the left-back has collected 117 appearances in England’s top two divisions whilst scoring just three goals.
