All those rumours linking Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester United will be consigned to the dustbin on Sunday.
Marca splashed their website on Sunday morning with the news that Cristiano Ronaldo will sign a new contract at Real Madrid until 2018 today.
Calling the news “official”, Marca claim that Cristiano Ronaldo will meet Real president Florentino Perez at 13:45 pm in the Royal Box at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday to put pen to paper.
According to the grape vine, Ronaldo will scoop the highest pay packet in Spanish football with a salary of 17 million euros net for each of the next five seasons, which is one million more than Lionel Messi earns at Barcelona.
