Liverpool’s Tiago Ilori, rated as one of the big Portuguese defensive prospects of his generation, is currently gaining some much-needed footballing experience at Granada.
The 20-year-old centre-half moved from Liverpool to Spain in January, and the youngster has so far settled well at his foster club in his opening few outings.
On Sunday Granada played host to Real Betis in the early kick-off, and Ilori claimed a superb assist as the hosts took a first half lead.
Ilori sprayed a terrific 60-yard pass from inside his own half to the onrushing toe of striker Piti, and after the forward killed the ball with a quality touch he went on to find the back of the net.
