Everton left it late, but the Toffees maintained their Champions League challenge on Saturday picking up a vital 2-1 home win over Aston Villa.
The Midlanders took the lead through Leandro Bacuna ten minutes before the break, but Roberto Martinez’s side turned the tide of the match with two goals in the final 16 minutes.
Steven Naismith equalised in the 74th minute, while Kevin Mirallas stole the headlines with an outstanding free-kick in the 85th.
Mirallas sent Goodison Park potty when he curled a right-footed set-play over the Villa wall and into the top corner from over 25-yards out.
