We are often accused of hype on this website and on our social media pages – but seriously how good is this goal!
Ecuador’s Under-16 side took on Paraguay on Monday in the Odesur Games and left winger Fabian Tello has undoubtedly made a name for himself with this goal.
By our estimation, Tello danced round seven Paraguay players before rounding the keeper and beating two players on the line.
Ecuador went on to score again two minutes later – presumably the Paraguay players were too shell shocked!
And, Ecuador won the encounter 3-0.
In Ecuador they are calling this the goal of the year better than anything scored by Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and more impressive than Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s overhead kick v England that won the Puskas Award.
