Oh. My. Days.
Regular readers of this website will be familiar with Brazilian futsal superstar Falcao.
Widely regarded as the best futsal player of his generation, Falcao, now 35, has regularly scored breathtaking goals throughout his career, but on Tuesday night, in an exhibition match in at the ‘Futsal Fest’, Falcao scored what may prove his greatest goal ever.
Playing for Atletico against Estrelas, the action started with the men in white lining up a free-kick a yard outside the D as the Estrelas team stood tall in an effort to block any direct route on target.
Accordingly, rather than go straight for goal Falcao’s teammate cheekily laid off a pass to the number 2, but what happened next was sensational.
In one of the all-time great showboats, Falcao managed to execute a single motion move that saw him flick up the ball while making a 180-degree turn before he backheel-flicked a lob over his opponents and into the net.
