Emmanuel Adebayor may not have scored in Tottenham’s 2-0 win over Crystal Palace but he undoubtedly enjoyed himself.
The Togo striker won the header for Christian Eriksen’s opener for Spurs just after half-time and was a decent foil in attack for the runners from midfield throughout.
It was no surprise that Adebayor played the full match, Roberto Soldado was hauled off in the second half after a poor display, the Togo striker is crucial to Tottenham’s hopes this season.
On Saturday evening, Adebayor posted an Instagram picture of both Spurs goals versus Palace and congratulated the Toronto-bound Defoe on his strike.
Adebayor tagged the picture above: “what a goal from my brother from another mother happy to see him scoring tonight @jermaindefoe ( life’s good )”
