If you watched Real Madrid last season you will find it absolutely incomprehensible that Los Blancos are seemingly pushing Angel Di Maria out the Bernabeu.
The Argentine was sensational in midfield, producing a number of tireless performances but it appears Real Madrid have targeted this summer’s Galactico: Colombian World Cup sensation James Rodriguez.
AS report on Tuesday that Angel Di Maria wants to leave Real Madrid as he does not feel valued at the club.
Amongst those that would be interested are Manchester City, Manchester United, PSG, Monaco and Juventus.
Di Maria would be a natural fit for the Premier League with his pace and stamina and you would suspect that Arsenal may well also be interested if Manchester City or Manchester United cannot agree a deal for a player valued at 50 million euros.
AS add that Monaco are in pole position but this may simply be in the hope that a swap deal can be arranged with the Ligue 1 side for Rodriguez.
Di María said a few days ago: “We do not know if I’ll stay in Madrid. I’m happy, but I’ll see what happens.”
Considering how well Di Maria played last season, this would be a crazy departure for the European champions but there will be any number of clubs in Europe eyeing a fantastic midfielder.
