Ross County vs Livingston odds and betting statistics

Ross County vs Livingston match preview

Are Ross County doomed for the drop?

Last time out, the Staggies were smashed 6-1 by Hearts at Tynecastle, with Owura Edwards’ penalty in the dying embers the definition of a consolation goal.

This is just the second time in their entire history that Ross County have conceded 6+ in a game, the other coming at Celtic Park in 2019.

Malky Mackay’s men have now lost seven of their last nine Premiership matches, so remain rooted to the foot of the table, four points below both Kilmarnock and Dundee United.

Of course, the Staggies still have to play both of those sides, visiting Tannadice next weekend and Rugby Park on the final day.

However, the Highlanders’ fate could already be sealed by then, with Ross County in desperate need of points here.

A fortnight ago, Davie Martindale’s men were beaten 2-0 by Dundee United, a result that ensured Livi would remain stranded in the bottom half.

Nevertheless, the fact the Lions, who have the smallest budget in the division, are 11 points clear of danger should not be overlooked.

Ross County left the Tony Macaroni Arena victorious in October but, since then, Livingston have won both encounters, 2-0 in January and 2-1 in March.

So, could an away win be on the cards in Dingwall?
