It’s a battle of the Scottish Premiership’s bottom two, with both clubs in desperate need of three points.

Dundee United are one point below their Highland-based hosts, after the Tangerines were beaten 2-1 by St Johnstone in the Tayside derby.

That’s now four successive defeats for Liam Fox’s team, who’ve accumulated just one point from the last 18 available.

Ross County were also beaten last weekend, going down 1-0 at St Mirren, with Owura Edwards’ red card in stoppage time compounding a miserable afternoon.

Malky Mackay’s men have now won just one of their last 11, losing seven of these outings.

These two drew 1-1 at Victoria Park in October, before Dundee United cruised to a 3-0 victory when the two met at Tannadice just after Christmas.
