Hibernian’s busy schedule continues.

But then, new striker Dylan Vente opened his Hibs account with a back-post header before, in the last minute of the 90, Jordan Obita picked up a loose ball and slotted into the bottom corner.
3-1 it finished and, ahead of Thursday’s return leg at Swissporarena, how crucial will that third goal prove to be, as Hibs seek to set up a glamour play-off round tie against Aston Villa?

Motherwell meantime drew 1-1 with newly-promoted Dundee at Dens Park on the opening day, with new signing Theo Bair breaking the deadlock with a smart finish.
Since Stuart Kettlewell took over as manager in February, the Well have lost just two of 19 matches in league and cup so, against a fatigued Hibs side, a home win seems likely at Fir Park.
