They were then held to a thrilling 2-2 draw by Leeds United away at Elland Road.
Then, in their last outing, the Toffees defeated Brighton 2-0 at the Amex to make it seven points.
Burnley’s start to the season has been much more underwhelming, with the Clarets collecting just one point so far.
Following defeats to both Brighton and Liverpool, they finally got off the mark in their previous outing with a 1-1 draw against Leeds.
Having taken just one point thus far, Dyche’s side sit 18th in the Premier League, though a win on Monday could guide them as high as 12th.

Everton are set to be handed a big defensive boost with Seamus Coleman, Yerry Mina and Ben Godfrey all back available.
Godfrey has recovered from Covid whilst Mina and Coleman have overcome injury problems.
Tom Davies is also expected to return to action against Burnley.
However, Fabian Delph and James Rodriguez both remain unavailable.

Maxwel Cornet could make his debut for the club on Monday.
