Liverpool transfer news: Napoli duo targeted, Bellingham boost & more

Here is all the latest Liverpool transfer news.

First up, according to Calciomercato, Liverpool are currently the frontrunners to sign Hirving Lozano from Napoli. The Mexican winger has been eyed by multiple European elites but could land in Anfield under Jurgen Klopp.

The forward has just 18 months left on his Napoli contract and an extension currently looks unlikely.

Elsewhere, according to reports coming out of England, Jurgen Klopp has had a ‘private call’ with Napoli midfielder Eljif Elmas. The Reds are looking to revamp their midfield and Elmas could be a useful addition.

The English outfit is chasing the likes of Enzo and Bellingham, and Elmas could serve as a resourceful backup.

Next, according to journalist Ben Jacobs, Liverpool are currently leading the race to sign Borussia Dortmund and England teenage midfield sensation Jude Bellingham, who is also on the radar of Real Madrid.

Jacobs said: “At the moment, I think Liverpool are the frontrunners for Jude Bellingham. “Real Madrid have put in a lot of legwork as well and I think both of those two clubs have confidence. “But the difference between the two is that Liverpool perhaps are prepared to pay a bit more than Real Madrid.”

Finally, according to TEAMtalk, Liverpool are among a host of top Premier League sides prepared to submit contract offers to Milan Skriniar, who will be a free agent in the summer of 2023.
