An update on the apparent wellbeing of Liverpool star Thiago Alcantara has been forthcoming late on Saturday night.
For those not aware, Spanish international Thiago set pulses racing across the Reds fanbase a little over 24 hours ago.
This came on the back of word surfacing online that the former Bayern Munich and Barcelona standout had not been spotted in training alongside the rest of Jurgen Klopp’s first-team squad.

Thiago, as a result, was labelled as an immediate doubt to feature in Liverpool’s crunch Premier League showdown with Arsenal.
The Merseysiders are primed to make the trip to north London on Sunday evening, in the knowledge that nothing but a victory will suffice to keep alive the club’s already dwindling title hopes.
In turn, the latest word stemming from social media regarding Thiago’s fitness will come as a major boost.
He is therefore expected to be available for selection from the off.

Whilst it appears to be good news for Thiago, though, the latest word regarding the fitness of another member of the engine room setup at Anfield has proven of an altogether less positive nature.
As confirmed late on Saturday evening, Arthur Melo, a loan arrival from Juventus this past summer, is set for an extended spell on the sidelines, ahead of going under the knife to resolve an injury picked up in training earlier this week.
Devastating news for Arthur Melo. The Brazil midfielder needs surgery and is likely to be sidelined for three to four months. #LFC
