‘See you in that shirt’: Son of Man City’s Fernandinho sends birthday message to Harry Kane

The son of Manchester City star Fernandinho has taken to social media, to send a less-than-subtle transfer message to Tottenham star Harry Kane.

City keen

The name of hitman Kane has taken centre stage in the media this summer.

This comes after the 28-year-old, back in May, informed those in a position of power at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium of his desire to move on, in search of silverware.

The revelation, originally brought to the fore by Sky Sports News, was subsequently picked up on by a host of sources across the English media, amid the widespread understanding that Kane was indeed eyeing a new adventure.

The weeks since, meanwhile, have inevitably seen a whole host of European giants tipped to swoop for the English international.

None, though, have been more persistently named as a potential landing spot than Premier League champions Manchester City. In fact, just last month, word was forthcoming that the Sky Blues had seen a big-money bid for Spurs’ star man rejected by Daniel Levy and co.

‘Happy birthday Harry’

But, as outlined above, one individual who has evidently not yet given up hope that, when all is said and done, Kane will in fact be donning the blue of Man City next season, is the son of midfielder Fernandinho.

Having been active in his efforts to catch the eye of both the Tottenham attacker and fellow Citizens target Jack Grealish of late, ‘Rozad10’, on Wednesday, took to Instagram to wish the former a happy birthday.

The attached picture, though, was one of Kane in a City jersey, accompanied by the caption:

‘We hope to see you in that shirt’
