Rio Ferdinand hits out at Arsenal fans over Gabriel Jesus
Rio Ferdinand has criticised Arsenal fans for their praise of Gabriel Jesus.
The Brazilian has since slotted seamlessly into Arsenal’s attack and is the no.9 they have been searching for, for several years.
In four league games for the Gunners, he has scored two and assisted three so far, which is a great return.
However, Jesus has been replaced at Manchester City by Erling Haaland. The Norwegian is taking the Premier League by storm, so far netting six and providing one assist. He is also averaging a goal every 54 minutes at the time of writing:
With 6 in 4, Haaland is averaging a goal every 54 minutes in the Premier League. This is a goal twice as often as Sergio Aguero, who has the best ratio in PL history (108).#ManCity pic.twitter.com/ZNVLR3zKww

Now, Rio Ferdinand has suggested that Arsenal fans’ view that Jesus is overshadowing Haaland is nonsense:
Speaking on his Vibe with Five podcast, the Manchester United legend said: “I think that Jesus’s impact has been unreal.
“I think that he has been a fantastic signing, an absolute major signing for Arsenal, but please don’t go overboard like all Arsenal fans do.
