Manchester City handed triple injury boost before Fulham

Fulham vs Man City

Manchester City will travel to Fulham this weekend as they look to regain top spot.

Liverpool leapfrogged City at the top of the league table two weekends ago due to City playing in the FA Cup.

However, City do still have a game in hand and would go a point clear should they win it.

The Citizens also have a good opportunity to overtake Liverpool this coming weekend.

Liverpool will face a tough test in Tottenham in the upcoming game week.

Meanwhile, City take on a Fulham side with the worst defensive record in the Premier League.

Man City trio to return

City have also been handed several injury boosts prior to the game.

Fernandinho plays an integral role in Pep Guardiola’s system, slotting in at the holding midfielder role.

However, the Brazilian has been out of action for their past three league outings.

He is now expected to be fit for the Fulham tie though.

John Stones would pull out of the England squad last week with a groin problem but he too is likely to be fit for the weekend’s game.

Finally, Kevin De Bruyne who has had a very stop-start season due to injuries will also be available for selection.

Nicolas Otamendi could too be ok to play on Saturday while Benjamin Mendy is closing in on a return.
