Man United direct frustrations at one man during Barcelona clash
Supporters of Manchester United have flooded to social media on Thursday evening, to make their frustrations with one man clear.
The Red Devils, of course, are currently locked in action.
After a pulsating 2-2 stalemate in the tie’s openers at the Camp Nou last week, Erik ten Hag’s troops have welcomed La Liga table-toppers Barcelona to Old Trafford, eyeing a place in the Last-16 of the Europa League.
With 45 minutes on the clock in Manchester, however, the evening’s hosts have been left with it all to do.
This comes with Barcelona in possession of the advantage on the score sheet, owing to a Robert Lewandowski spot-kick:
The Blaugrana’s opener, however, did not come without its controversies.
The call split opinion, with those of a United persuasion, altogether unsurprisingly, having made clear feelings that their side did not deserve to be behind.
As proceedings rolled on, and ensuing decisions sparked further unrest across Old Trafford, many, in turn, took to social media, with that man Turpin the subject of widespread condemnation:
