Chelsea head coach Graham Potter has, late on Sunday, provided an update on the wellbeing of wide-man Christian Pulisic.
United States international Pulisic, of course, was forced to sit out earlier today, upon Chelsea returning to action against Manchester City in the FA Cup.
This came after the former Borussia Dortmund standout limped out of the Blues’ Premier League meeting with City earlier in the week.
Amid something of an injury crisis in west London at present, the Chelsea faithful, in turn, were left sweating over Pulisic’s potential return date.
As alluded to above, though, on Sunday, an insight into as much has been forthcoming.
Speaking on the back of his side’s concerning FA Cup exit, Graham Potter was asked for the latest on Pulisic’s situation.
“I would say it will be a few weeks for him.”
Raheem Sterling, meanwhile, will require further medical scans to ascertain the extent of his hamstring issue, also picked up against Man City on Thursday.
It’s going to be “weeks” out for Pulisic and Sterling needs further assessment on a hamstring injury, says Potter #CFC
