The head-turning votes placed by ex-Brazilian international Ronaldinho for the 2022 Ballon d’Or award have, on Friday, been unveiled online.
The latest ‘Golden Ball’ ceremony, of course, took place in Paris earlier this week.
A star-studded event gave rise to a widely predicted eventual outcome, as Karim Benzema beat out the competition to, for the first time, be named world football’s very best.

Directly following Benzema in the final Ballon d’Or standings came ex-Liverpool standout Sadio Mane, and Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.
Also in the top-10, meanwhile, were the likes of Mohamed Salah, Kylian Mbappe, and a trio of further Real Madrid stars in the form of Thibaut Courtois, Luka Modric and Vinicius Jr.
One individual who, as outlined above, strayed far from the norm in his own voting process, though, was Ronaldinho.
Ronaldinho’s nominated winner too plies his trade for Spanish and European champions Real Madrid, in the form of youngster Eduardo Camavinga.
In the runners-up spot, meanwhile, came another midfield prodigy, in Bayern Munich’s Ryan Gravenberch.
And deserving of rounding out the podium places in the eyes of a one-time winner of the Ballon d’Or, last up, was Arsenal and England wide-man Bukayo Saka.
