Bologna 1-1 Inter (3-2 on penalties): Report, result, goals as Rossoblu book Supercoppa Italiana final vs Napoli
Bologna beat Inter to reach the Supercoppa Italiana final
Back-up goalkeeper Federico Ravaglia saved two spot kicks in a shootout as Bologna beat Serie A leaders Inter to reach the Supercoppa Italiana final against Napoli at the Al-Awwal Park Stadium in Riyadh.
Towering Ravaglia denied Alessandro Bastoni and Ange-Yoan Bonny, affording Ciro Immobile a chance the veteran striker took to send his new club to the decider.
The reigning Italian champions beat holders Milan 2-0 on Thursday to book their place in the final.

Bologna vs Inter: Underdogs in Supercoppa Italiana semi-final
Inter went ahead after 72 seconds when Marcus Thuram volleyed in Alessandro Bastoni’s cross, but Riccardo Orsolini equalised with a 35th-minute penalty for the sixth-placed side in the top flight after Yann Bisseck’s handball.
The Champions League contenders were awarded a penalty 11 minutes after the restart when Torbjorn Heggem was adjudged to have fouled Ange-Yoan Bonny, but a Video Assistant Referee review advised a pitchside monitor check by official Daniele Chiffi, who overturned the decision in a game that finished 1-1 and went straight to penalties after 90 minutes.
Nicolo Barella shot over the crossbar for Inter and Juan Miranda followed suit for the victors as part of an erratic shootout, with Nerazzurri goalkeeper Josep Martinez stopping Nikola Moro’s attempt.
Lautaro Martinez and Stefan de Vrij converted for Inter, as did Lewis Ferguson and Jonathan Rowe for Bologna before Immobile settled the tie.
What a start for Inter! 🤯
