St Louis City vs LA Galaxy betting tips: MLS preview, predictions and odds

St. Louis City vs LA Galaxy odds and betting statistics

St. Louis City vs LA Galaxy match preview

It’s top vs bottom in the Western Conference, as MLS’ newest club takes on the league’s most successful team.

Right now, it’s expansion club St. Louis City who can call themselves the best in the west, starting the weekend one point clear of Seattle and two points better off than champions LAFC.

Bradley Carnell’s team have won three on the bounce at home, scoring ten times in these matches.

Then, on Wednesday, St. Louis faced the bizarre situation of returning to Dallas a month after their last visit to Texas.

Back on 6 May, their clash was abandoned on in the 50th minute, so resumed just after half time 32 days later.

Two late goals saw Dallas snatch a 2-0 win in what was, technically, the 46,000th minute of stoppage time.

This is partially due to the fact that LA Galaxy travel to Missouri in horrendous form, sat rock bottom of the west.

Greg Vanney’s team lost three in a row before, belatedly, showing signs of life in their last MLS outing, beating Real Salt Lake 3-2.

However, LA then returned to Utah for Wednesday night’s U.S. Open Cup quarter-final, only this time they were on the wrong end of a 3-2 scoreline.

The Galaxy have not won back-to-back MLS games outside California since June 2021, with that very unlikely to change at CityPark.
