Where to Watch Copa America 2024? Date, Time, TV Channels and Online Streaming

See where you can watch the 2024 Copa America and make sure you don't miss a kick this summer!

Lionel Messi

With all the attention on Euro 2024, you may have forgotten that the Copa America is taking place alongside it this summer.

Argentina are the current holders having won the tournament for the 15th time in 2021, beating Brazil in the final.

But a long line of nations will be looking to pinch Lionel Messi and Co’s crown and become the top dogs of the continent.

The 2022 World Cup winners enter as favourites and are being tipped to move clear of Uruguay and become the most successful nation in the tournament’s history.

But the likes of Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, Mexico and the United States will fancy themselves to provide stiff competition.

With games on almost every day between 21 June and 15 July, you will not want to miss a second of the action. In this article, we will tell you how you can watch and keep up to date with the 2024 Copa America.

Where is the 2024 Copa America being staged and when does it start?

The United States will host the 2024 Copa America having only been involved in the tournament four times previously.

14 different stadiums will be used across the entire country, meaning local kick-off times will also be varied due to the different time zones in the US.

The final will be played at the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida, home of the Miami Dolphins, while the semi-finals will take place in New Jersey and North Carolina.

Champions Argentina will kick off the tournament against Group A opponents Canada in the early hours of Friday morning for UK viewers.

Following that, a minimum of two group games a day will be played until 3 July, before the quarter-finals take place on 5, 6 and 7 July.

A few days break will come after the first round of knockouts before the semi-finals on 10 and 11 July, before the grand final in Miami on 15 July.

Can Argentina make history?

Argentina are on an incredible run in major competitions, having won the last two they have competed in.

Messi has only got so many years left on the international stage but his hunger to win another title with his country will be as fierce as ever.

La Albiceleste have not lost a friendly game since 2019 and have only suffered defeat in all competitions once since the Saudi Arabia loss in the World Cup two years ago.

They rounded off their warm-up fixtures with a win over Guatemala and enter the tournament as strong favourites.

Who else are among the favourites?

Brazil – 2021 finalists and nine-time winners of the Copa America – are going to be a huge threat to Argentina. With the likes of Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo and Endrick running things in attack, they will feel confident ahead of the tournament.

Uruguay beat both Argentina and Brazil in recent World Cup qualifying matches and they have some hidden gems in their squad. Darwin Nunez, Federico Valverde and Ronald Aruajo are three top-class players who will help lead the third favourites into battle.

Elsewhere, there is little to split Mexico and the US in the bookies’ odds, but they are certainly dark horses, especially the host nation who will be playing in front of energised crowds.

Meanwhile, Ecuador are an outside shout, but realistically it would take something special for them to win the tournament.
