Ronaldo captains Al-Nassr and scores in win over Al-Wahda

Al-Nassr defeated Al-Wahda 4-2 in a friendly that featured six first-half goals during Saudi Arabia’s winter break.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Coman, Camara and Al-Nassr scored for the visitors, while Kruspzky and Tadic struck for Al-Wahda before the break.

Al-Nassr opened the scoring within the first ten minutes. Al-Ghannam advanced down the right and delivered a cross for Ronaldo, who finished from close range.

The lead did not last long. A well-timed pass from Tadic released Kruspzky, who placed his finish into the bottom corner to make it 1-1.

The hosts responded pretty quickly. Angelo carried the ball through midfield and played in Coman, who cut inside from the left and struck into the top corner to restore the advantage.

Al-Wahda equalised again shortly after. Pour was brought down by Simakan inside the area, and Tadic converted the penalty with a driven shot down the middle.

Chances continued at both ends. João Felix fired over from inside the box following a loose second ball, and both teams exchanged sustained spells of possession.

Five minutes of added time were played before the interval, with Al-Nassr maintaining control but unable to break the deadlock.

The restart began with immediate changes on both sides, with Al-Nassr also seeing Joao Felix booked following a brief confrontation. The hosts reclaimed the lead ten minutes into the half when a quick corner routine resulted in a loose ball inside the area, allowing Camara to strike high into the net.

Further substitutions disrupted the flow, and the match slowed considerably. A long through ball released Camara, whose shot forced a save from Alshamsi.

Al-Nassr reacted fastest to the rebound and finished from the centre of the box to extend the lead to 4-2 just after the half-hour mark.

Al-Wahda introduced additional fresh players in an attempt to regain momentum, but despite controlling possession for stretches, they were unable to create meaningful openings.

The closing minutes saw a drop in tempo, with both teams exchanging short passing sequences and keeping the ball without any significant penetration.
