Manchester United make improved £60m bid for Mbeumo

Can United lure the Cameroon forward to Old Trafford?

Manchester United make improved £60m bid for Mbeumo

Manchester United have made an improved bid of £60m for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo.

United are keen on the 25-year-old forward and made an initial bid earlier this month in the region of £45m plus £10m in add-ons.

The Premier League giants hope that an improved offer will be enough for managerless Brentford to accept.

Mbeumo scored 20 Premier League goals last season as Brentford finished 14 points above United.

United have made one signing so far this summer, with Matheus Cunha joining from Wolves in a £62.5m deal.

Tottenham, now managed by Mbuemo’s ex-Bees boss Thomas Frank, are also interested in the Cameroon international.

The 25-year-old’s contract at Brentford expires next summer, although there is an option to extend by a further year.
