Man Utd striker Sesko injury ‘not that serious’
Striker could be out for a month
Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko could be ruled out for a month with a knee injury – but he has not damaged his anterior cruciate ligament.
The 22-year-old picked up the injury against Tottenham before the international break, and Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano says the forward has escaped a serious injury.
“[Benjamin] Sesko’s injury is not that serious. It’s not an ACL. It’s not a very long injury,” Romano said on his official YouTube channel.
Manager Ruben Amorim is expected to deliver an update on Sesko later this week, when he addresses the media ahead of Manchester United’s return to Premier League action against Everton.
Sesko is almost certain to miss out against Everton on November 24, while he is also likely to miss the Premier League matches with Crystal Palace (November 30), West Ham United (December 4) and Wolverhampton Wanderers (December 8).
