Chelsea make the short trip to Brentford on Saturday evening as they resume their Premier League campaign.

The Blues have been quietly been going about their business this term, winning two and drawing one of their three games.

The Bees meanwhile, have struggled. After seeing their team and coaching staff stripped this summer, they are still awaiting a spark to kickstart their campaign.

A win over Aston Villa before the break will have been superb motivation for Keith Andrews’ side, but this Chelsea side will be a completely different test.

Brentford line-up

The Bees have opted for plenty of defensive power as they look to keep the Blues out.

Caoimhin Kelleher is in goal, behind Michael Kayode, Sepp van den Berg, Nathan Collins, Ethan Pinnock and Keane Lewis-Potter.

Ahead of that five, comes a midfield three, including Jordan Henderson, Mathias Jensen and Yehor Yarmoliuk.

Two more will lead the line for the West London side, Kevin Schade is joined by Igor Thiago.

Chelsea line-up

Chelsea have thrown a few surprises into our starting XI.

Robert Sanchez is back in goal, behind Wesley Fofana, Trevoh Chalobah, Tosin Adarabioyo and Jorrel Hato.

Ahead of them is a midfield two of Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez.

Pedro Neto is on the right, with Jamie Gittens deployed on the left.

Facundo Buonanotte gets his debut, with Joao Pedro leading the line.
