Bournemouth v Chelsea: Confirmed line-ups as Cole Palmer returns to starting XI

Chelsea will hope to bounce back from their midweek defeat at Leeds when they visit Bournemouth this afternoon.

Enzo Maresca made several changes to his side for the trip to Elland Road and watched it backfire as Leeds cruised to a vital 3-1 victory.

That defeat left Chelsea in fourth place coming into the weekend but, perhaps more importantly, indicated they are not yet ready to launch a serious title bid.

Champions League qualification is a more realistic target and a win at the Vitality Stadium would restore confidence ahead of a trip to Atalanta on Tuesday.

Bournemouth also suffered midweek misery, going down 1-0 at home to Everton to slip to 14th. Andoni Iraola’s side have not won in the league since October 26.
