Bournemouth 3-1 Fulham: Report, result, goals as Semenyo strikes help Cherries go second

Antoine Semenyo scored either side of setting up a spectacular Justin Kluivert strike as Bournemouth came from behind to beat Fulham and move second in the Premier League at the Vitality Stadium.

Forward Semenyo, whose eight goals and four assists since the end of May are the most direct goal involvements of any player in the division during that period, ended a dazzling run on the left by netting from inside the box to draw his side level in the 78th minute.

The Ghana international fed Kluivert to score from distance in the 84th minute and added his second from close range six minutes into added time, slotting in from substitute Ben Gannon-Doak’s pass.

Ryan Sessegnon had given Fulham the lead in the 70th minute, completing an incisive exchange with on-loan Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze to fire in.

Both sides are next in action on October 18, when Bournemouth visit Crystal Palace before Fulham host Arsenal.
