Arsenal v Everton: Confirmed line-ups as league leaders look to tighten grip on title race

Arsenal host Everton in the Premier League on Saturday knowing victory could see them extend their lead at the top of the table – for a few hours at least – to 10 points.

With second-placed Manchester City not kicking off until 8pm, the Gunners have an opportunity to add further distance between them and their rivals in the title race.

However, they meet an Everton side who have been in impressive form of late, rising to eighth in the league having lost just twice in their last nine top-flight outings.

Mikel Arteta will be looking for a positive response from his Arsenal players after a frustrating midweek outing in the Champions League that saw them rescue a 1-1 draw away at Bayer Leverkusen late on.

Meanwhile, David Moyes’s men will be full of confidence following successive victories over Newcastle and Burnley in recent weeks.
