Senegal 3-1 Sudan: Report, result and goals as Lions of Teranga seal quarter-final place
Senegal will face either Mali or Tunisia in the last eight.
Senegal came from behind to clinch their place in the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations as they saw off Sudan 3-1.
The Lions of Teranga surprisingly fell behind in the sixth minute when Amar Abdallah put Sudan ahead in Tangier.
But a brace from Papa Gueye saw Senegal take a 2-1 lead into half-time, before Ibrahim Mbaye made sure of victory 13 minutes from the end of normal time.

Senegal come from behind
Abdallah curled Sudan into a shock lead with a stunning left-footed effort into the top-left corner, but Senegal were quick to dictate proceedings as they sought a response.
Ismaila Sarr was denied by Monged Abuzaid before Mohamed Eisa forced Edouard Mendy into action at the other end.
Abuzaid was required again to thwart Nicolas Jackson from point-blank range with a superb save, but the Sudan goalkeeper was finally beaten when Gueye found the bottom-right corner from just outside the box.
The offside flag denied Senegal a penalty for a foul on Sarr by Abuzaid, but Papa Gueye completed the turnaround in first-half stoppage time, slamming home a left-footed finish after excellent work from Jackson.
Senegal continued in the ascendancy after the interval, but it was not until Mbaye latched onto a long ball from Sadie Mane and lashed home at the near post that they were able to take their foot off the gas. After an early wobble in this one, a much sterner test awaits Senegal in the last eight.
