Erling Haaland has issued an apology following Norway’s 5-1 loss to Austria in the Nations League on Sunday.
The Manchester City striker called the team’s performance “far too bad” after failing to get on the scoresheet a few days after becoming the nation’s all-time top goalscorer.
Haaland, who stepped in as captain due to Martin Odegaard’s absence because of an ankle injury, was left very disappointed after the defeat.
