France vs Ukraine: Watch Mbappe’s historic goal in 2026 World Cup qualifying
The Real Madrid icon made no mistake from the spot
Kylian Mbappe has given France the lead in their World Cup qualifier against Ukraine. The Real Madrid star stepped up and cooly converted from the penalty spot, adding a bit of flair to his finish with a panenka down the middle of the goal.
The moment came after Michael Olise was tripped in the box, having latched on to a beautiful Rayan Cherki pass at the start of the second half.
Mbappe’s goal takes him above the legendary Thierry Henry on the all-time scoring charts for France, netting for the 52nd time while representing Les Bleus.
