It was a big night for under-pressure Tottenham boss Thomas Frank.

Spurs started the final match round in the league phase in fifth place but knew defeat could see them pipped in the race for a top-eight finish and automatic qualification for the round of 16.

The visitors had several injury worries, adding to Frank’s problems that have been exacerbated by a run of one win in seven games in all competitions.

The good news for the Dane was the fact Eintracht had nothing to play for having already been eliminated.
