Chelsea will hope to secure their second win in the Champions League this season when Ajax visit Stamford Bridge tonight.

Enzo Maresca’s side have lost to Bayern Munich and beaten Benfica so far in the competition and a three-point haul against the Amsterdammers will propel them up the table.

Ajax have lost both games – 2-0 against Inter and 4-0 at Marseille – and prop up the rest.

Former Everton defender John Heitinga is the Ajax coach. He said: “I know the Premier League well, along with Chelsea’s strengths. This is a match where we have to demand the utmost from ourselves. We’ll definitely apply pressure at times, but there will also be times when Chelsea force us back and we’ll have to be well-organised.”
