Bodo/Glimt v Tottenham: Confirmed line-ups as Spurs look to continue strong Champions League start

Tottenham travel north of the Arctic Circle to face Bodo\Glimt as the Londoners look to build on their opening Champions League win over Villarreal.

History favours Spurs, with the Premier League side winning both legs when the two teams met in the Europa League semi-finals last season.

To add to that, Bodø/Glimt have lost all five of their games against English sides in major European competition, however, all those defeats have come in the Europa League.

But that is not the say the Norwegian club will be pushovers. Their rise over the last few years has been nothing short of remarkable, and manager Kjetil Knutsen will be hoping his players will leave their mark on what is the club’s first-ever Champions League campaign.

Here are how the two teams line up for this evening’s clash.

Bodo/Glimt team news

Kasper Hogh will lead the line for the Norwegian champions and will carry their main goal threat.

The 24-year-old has scored 16 league goals so far this term, while midfielder Patrick Berg leads the team in number of assists with eight.

Tottenham team news

The big news from the Spurs camp is the absence of club captain Cristian Romero, who has not travelled with the squad as a “precaution”.

Kevin Danso comes in to replace the Argentine, while Micky van de Ven skippers Thomas Frank’s team.

Pedro Porro, Brennan Johnson, Wilson Odobert and Pape Sarr start after beginning the 1-1 draw with Wolves among the substitutes.

Destiny Udogie, Mohammed Kudus, Joao Palhinha and Xavi Simons all drop to the bench.
