Portugal vs Turkey betting tips: WC Qualification, UEFA preview, predictions & odds

Portugal to win and both teams to score (12/5)

Turkey have been much improved since Euro 2020, however, Portugal should have too much quality for them.

Portugal just missed out on automatic qualification for the World Cup as they lost to Serbia in their final match.

Fernando Santos will be hoping Cristiano Ronaldo and his other stars will come good on Thursday.

Cristiano Ronaldo to score anytime (12/5)

If there is one player you’d want to try and drag you to a major tournament, it is Cristiano Ronaldo.

He netted six goals in seven appearances during qualifying.

Match preview: Portugal vs Turkey

Cristiano Ronaldo is in major trouble of missing out on a potential final ever World Cup.

Portugal were only able to secure second spot in Group A.

Serbia beat them to top spot in the group as they won 2-1 away in Lisbon.

If Portugal are able to get past Turkey, they could then face European champions Italy in the next round.

Portugal were also very disappointing at the Euros as they exited the competition in the group stages.

Turkey hope to bounce back from poor Euro 2020

Many tipped Turkey to be the underdogs at Euro 2020.

However, Stefan Kuntz’s side proved to be very underwhelming.

They finished bottom of Group A and lost all three matches.

The Crescent-Stars also conceded 8 and scored just once.

In World Cup qualifying, they look much improved as they finished just behind the Netherlands.

Turkey finished 2nd in Group G and lost just once in ten matches.
