Cuba vs Suriname betting tips: CONCACAF Nations League preview, predictions and odds

Cuba vs Suriname match preview

Both look likely to be battling against Nations League relegation, so will either pick up three important points in Santiago de Cuba?

The home side began this campaign on Friday by holding Haiti to a credible goalless draw at Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez.

Cuba have been a yo-yo team since the Nations League’s inception, relegated from the top-tier in 2019, without a point to their name, before cruising to promotion, winning five out of six, last time round.

Los Leones del Caribe are hoping to break that cycle but, with tough games to come in October, this might be their best chance and picking up all three points.

Suriname meantime also picked up a point in their opener, drawing 1-1 with Grenada in St. George’s, conceding in the 85th minute, only for Mitchell te Vrede to equalise little over 100 seconds later.

Aron Winter’s team are still yet to pick up a victory in League A, with this set to be their sixth attempt, meaning A-Selektie are amongst the favourites to drop down a tier.
