No less than three Premier League clubs are expressing a keen interest in the services of a key member of the attacking ranks at Ligue 1 outfit Troyes.
The player in question? Mama Balde.
For those not familiar with his name, Balde is a versatile 27-year-old attacker, capable of lining out anywhere across the frontline.
He has spent the last four years of his career lining out in France, but it was the exploits of the Guinea-Bissau international this past season which saw heads begin to turn across the continent.
This came as Balde shone bright, on his way to 12 goals and four assists in 34 Ligue 1 appearances.
And, as alluded to above, chief amongst the parties interested in a summer move for the former Sporting CP talent are a trio of English clubs.
‘Burnley, Sheffield United and Everton are interested in signing Mama Balde from Troyes.’
Troyes, for their part, are expected to demand a sum in the region of €8 million to part with Balde, a figure which all three of the aforementioned sides should have little trouble in reaching.
