Explained: Why PSG’s opening bid for Rasmus Hojlund may not be an issue for Manchester United

PSG have submitted opening bid for Rasmus Højlund but Manchester United unlikely to be concerned

Paris Saint Germain have made their opening offer for Rasmus Højlund.

The French champions are now looking to rival Manchester United for his signature.

However, the Red Devils are unlikely to be fazed by the French club’s latest move and here’s why...

PSG’s opening Højlund offer

PSG’s opening offer for Rasmus Højlund is €50 million, according to L’Equipe.

But, that is as highest Les Parisiens are willing to go and they will walk away from a deal if it is rejected.

Man United have already bid more than that having offered €50m plus €10m in bonuses.

Both clubs are now awaiting Atalanata’s response to their bids for the 20-year-old.

The Italian club have been adamant that they want at least €70m - so both bids are likely to be rejected.
