The headline fixture of the upcoming gameweek in the Bundesliga is set to play out at the Red Bull Arena on Saturday, September 30th.

The matchup in question will see RB Leipzig act as hosts, in a meeting with Bayern Munich.

It is champions Bayern, unsurprisingly, who currently boast the advantage in the German top-flight table, sitting pretty in top spot, with a record of four wins and a draw.

This comes after Thomas Tuchel’s troops returned to winning ways last time out, in putting seven past a hapless VFL Bochum.

Leipzig, though, will nevertheless head into this evening’s action confident in their chances of getting a result.

Marco Rose’s men, for their part, have racked up seven wins from eight across all competitions thus far this term.

Not only that, but, they have already gone toe-to-toe with Bayern this season, and taught the Bavarians something of a lesson, by way of a 3-0 drubbing in the DFL Supercup.

The matchup will be part of Gameweek 411 on Sorare Football, and 101 Great Goals has broken down the key statistical takeaways ahead of the game.

RB Leipzig vs Bayern Munich Sorare tips

RB Leipzig

Benjamin Sesko

A summer arrival at the Red Bull Arena, Sesko’s recent displays have provided an insight into exactly why the Slovenian was widely regarded as one of Europe’s most promising up-and-coming strikers whilst at Red Bull Salzburg. After going scoreless across his first couple of outings in Leipzig colours, Sesko has since exploded into life, to the tune of five goals in his last five appearances across all competitions. His latest haul came in midweek, and in important fashion, too, the 20-year-old’s brace guiding Leipzig to the 2nd round of the DFB-Pokal. Certainly one to keep an eye on this weekend.

Xavi Simons

Arguably recent addition to Marco Rose’s ranks, Simons has stood as, arguably, Leipzig’s standout performer to this point in the campaign. Across his first five Bundesliga appearances, the PSG loanee has already directly contributed to seven goals, notching a pair of Man of the Match awards along the way. Such exploits have given rise to early Sorare scores of 80, 85, and a hefty 93, with Simons’ undisputed starter status making the Dutchman something of a must-have at this moment in time.

Willi Orban

Turning attentions away from the final third, and towards the other end of the pitch, Orban has continued to play a starring role at the heart of Die Roten Bullen’s backline over the early weeks of the new term. A familiar and steadying presence, the Hungarian impressed en route to his side’s victory over Bayern in the Super Cup, with a recent goal on the international stage having also reiterated his long-standing threat in the opponents’ penalty area. A less glamorous, but nonetheless solid pickup.

*Update* - Despite information coming our way that Orban was in line for an early return from injury this weekend, he is in fact set to miss out later today.

Bayern Munich

Harry Kane

The star of the show at the Allianz Arena over the season’s early going, Kane has taken to life in Germany like a duck to water. After quickly establishing himself as the first-choice attacking spearhead in Thomas Tuchel’s squad, the England international has since gone on to rack up an eye-watering eight goals and four assists in just six appearances. This includes a hat-trick, and two assists, en route to a perfect Sorare score of 100 against VFL Bochum last weekend. Not a want, but a need in your team this gameweek.

Leroy Sane

Whilst Kane has taken the majority of the plaudits in Bavaria to this point in the term, close behind has been attacking partner-in-crime Sane. The 27-year-old is currently in the midst of one of the finest stretches of goalscoring form of his career, having now found the net in six of his last eight appearances for club and country (7 goals). The latest came last time out, as Sane got in on the action with a goal amid a stellar individual display against Bochum. An ever-present threat in the final third, the former Manchester City man is a welcome addition to any Sorare side.

Noussair Mazraoui

Last up comes a member of Tuchel’s ranks fresh off his clear-cut best performance of the campaign last time out. Full-back Mazraoui, after moving in and out of Bayern’s starting XI to start the term, was thrown in from the off against the aforementioned Bochum. And though he was not exactly tested on the defensive side of the ball, the Moroccan provided a timely reminder of his talents at the other end, en route to joining Kane with a perfect Sorare score of 100. Another starting berth is therefore expected to follow, making Mazraoui an altogether enticing pick to face Leipzig.
