Manchester United decide on 4th summer signing

Manchester United already have plans in place for a 4th summer signing.

Manchester United completed a £55m move for former Chelsea star Mason Mount last week.

Elsewhere, Inter Milan shot-stopper Andre Onana looks set to be the man to replace David de Gea between the sticks at Old Trafford.

Further forward, meanwhile, Rasmus Hojlund is the striker being most heavily linked with a move to the red half of Manchester.

And now, Man United’s 4th summer target has been revealed.  According to Footballtransefrs, Manchester United ‘will action a move’ for Fiorentina star Sofyan Amrabat once they have wrapped up deals for Andre Onana and Rasmus Hojlund.

Amrabat starred at the 2022 World Cup as Morocco defied expectations to reach the semi-finals. He also played a key role in Fiorentina reaching the final of the Europa Conference League last month, which they lost to West Ham, and has featured a total of 107 times for the Serie A outfit.

Ten Hag and Amrabat have worked together previously at FC Utrecht and the midfielder seemingly has fond memories of the United boss.

Speaking about the Man United chief last year, the Morocco international said: “He made a plan for me. He asked me about my strong points and what I wanted to improve.

“From the first day, he was busy with me. Not only me, all the players. A lot of coaches are busy in general with the team but he put a lot of time into individual work because he knew if the individual was better the team would be better.

“After every game, he would take me through a video and explain everything to me. I was 18 or 19 years old, so sometimes I was thinking ‘oof, again?’. But now, when I look back, I know it was so important for my career.”
