Walker agrees to join Bayern

Kyle Walker has agreed to join Bayern Munich, according to Sky Germany.

A total verbal agreement has been reached between the player and Bayern.

The German club have offered him a two-year contract plus an option to extend by an additional year.

The defender is now ready to sign for the German club but first, they must find an agreement with Manchester City.

Walker remained a big part of Pep Guardiola’s team last season as they secured a historic treble.

The 32-year-old made 39 appearances for the European champions last season and remains one of the best right-backs in the world.

In terms of right-backs already at the Allianz Arena, Bayern have seen Joao Cancelo return to City following the end of his loan spell whilst Benjamin Pavard could leave the club.
