Pep Guardiola could field the same XI that ran out 1-0 winners at home against Newcastle United last weekend as few changes, if any, are needed during the early doors of the campaign.
City remains without Kevin De Bruyne and John Stones both remain sidelined due to injury, but Pep could be bolstered by the likely return of Bernardo Silva who is recovering from illness. Despite that, the Portuguese star is not slated to feature from the off, especially in the wake of Phil Foden’s influential performance against the Magpies.
