Jude Bellingham matches another Cristiano Ronaldo record with last-gasp Real Madrid winner

Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham, on Saturday, continued to etch his name indellibly into the history books of the Spanish heavyweights.

Real, for those who may have missed it, were back in action a short time ago.

Hopeful of keeping alive a perfect start to the La Liga season, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops welcomed Getafe to the Santiago Bernabeu.

And, when all was said and done, make it four wins from four is precisely what Real went on to manage.

This came courtesy of a comeback 2-1 triumph.

It was Getafe who opened the scoring on Saturday afternoon, Borja Mayoral finding the net with just ten minutes on the clock.

After Joselu levelled things up early in the 2nd-half, though, the stage was set for another trademark Blancos late show.

And, as he has week after week to start out the campaign, it was the aforementioned Jude Bellingham who ultimately proved himself the hero.

Deep into injury time, after Lucas Vazquez’s effort from distance was spilled by Soria in the Getafe net, England international Bellingham was on hand to slot home on the rebound, sparking chaotic celebrations around the Bernabeu:

And, as alluded to above, in the process, the big-money summer arrival in Madrid secured for himself yet more history.

Bellingham, it has been revealed, has become just the 2nd player to ever find the net in each of their first four La Liga appearances for Real Madrid.

The other? Cristiano Ronaldo.
