Lionel Messi and Co will have to brave the bitter cold when they travel to Sporting Kansas City for their rearranged CONCACAF Champions Cup opener on Wednesday night.
Inter Miami, who are more used to the tropical climate of South Florida, could face temperatures as low as -24C in the Sunflower State in what is their first competitive outing of 2025.
The match was set for Tuesday night before being postponed and rearranged for Wednesday.

Whether Messi features remains to be seen but the Herons will be hoping to make a positive return to competitive action ahead of their MLS opener against New York City FC after five friendly wins in pre-season so far.
Having finished top of the Eastern Conference last season before falling short in the play-offs, new manager Javier Mascherano will hope his star-studded team can make a better go of things this season and a successful Champions Cup campaign would be a great platform to start the season well.
Sporting KC, meanwhile, will be desperate to put a torrid 2024 behind them, with the Wizards losing 19 of their 34 games in the Western Conference.

Gonzalo Luján, Maxi Falcón, Telasco Segovia, Tadeo Allende and Rocco Ríos Novo could all feature.
