Indiana Pacers 119-118 Milwaukee Bucks

Tyrese Haliburton’s 26 points included the go-ahead layup with 1.4 seconds remaining in overtime as the Pacers sealed a 4-1 series victory over the Bucks in dramatic fashion.

“We made plays when we needed to,” said Haliburton. “That’s part of the resilience of this group and what we’ve proven all year. It wasn’t pretty, but we’ll take it.”

Boston Celtics 120-89 Orlando Magic

Celtics clinched their series against Magic, extending their lead to 4-1 with the help of 35 points from Jayson Tatum and 23 for Jaylen Brown to condemn their opponents to a sixth straight consecutive first-round series exit since 2010/11.

“We can win in multiple different ways with multiple different line-ups,” Tatum said. “We adapt and figure it out. You can’t really ride the emotional rollercoaster of the play-offs – you’ve got to stay poised.”

Denver Nuggets 131-15 LA Clippers

Denver’s second consecutive win in the series put them 3-2 ahead against the Clippers, with Aaron Gordon contributing 23 points for the victors and Ivica Zubac top-scoring for their opponents with 27.

“This was not good enough – this was not our standard,” said Clippers interim coach David Adelman. The teams meet again in Inglewood on Thursday (22:00 ET).

Detroit Pistons 106-103 New York Knicks

The Knicks led until the third quarter at Madison Square Garden but their lead has been reduced to 3-2 over the Pistons, for whom Cade Cunningham top-scored with 24 points.

Detroit coach JB Bickerstaff praised a “phenomenal” defensive display by Ausar Thompson, who also scored 22 points, while OG Anunoby led the Knicks with 19. The teams meet again in Detroit on Thursday (19:30).
