Jimmy Butler hailed superhero Steph Curry after the pair combined to send the Golden State Warriors into the NBA playoffs.
The Warriors beat the Memphis Grizzlies 121-116 in the play-in tournament, thanks largely to 38 points from Butler and 37 from veteran point guard Curry.
It was Curry that clinched the win down the stretch with two three-pointers in the final two minutes and four free throws in the last five seconds.

“We got a hellified Batman in Steph,” Butler said. “It’s real, I’m telling you. That’s a Batman if I’ve ever seen a Batman. Always coming to save the day, you’re never out of any game.
“And more than anything he’s just so poised, he’s so calm, and he was a huge part of us getting the victory.
“I think any team has a chance with me on it. But I know every team has a chance with Steph on it. I get to play Robin. That’s my Batman.”
Rockets next up for the Warriors
The pair’s efforts put the Warriors through to a best-of-seven first-round series against the Houston Rockets that begins on Sunday.
“It took 83 games but we’re right where we want to be, which is back in the playoffs, and we’ve got a chance,” said coach Steve Kerr.
Desmond Bane scored 30 points and Ja Morant added 22 for the Grizzlies, who will face the winner of the clash between the Dallas Mavericks and Sacramento Kings to determine the eighth playoff spot.
