A two-run single as part of a four-run sixth from Caleb Durbin and a first home run for Isaac Collins contributed to a comfortable victory for the Milwaukee Brewers at the Chicago White Sox.

Andrew Benintendi and Luis Robert Jr scored successive home runs in the first inning for the White Sox, who have lost six of their last eight games.

Philadelphia Phillies 7-6 Washington Nationals

San Diego’s four-game losing run is over after Xander Bogaerts homered and hit three runs in their home win over San Francisco.

Manny Machado, Jason Heyward and Elias Diaz each hit two for the Padres, ending the Giants’ two-game run of victories.

Cleveland Guardians 2-1 Minnesota Twins

A walk-off home run from Kyle Manzardo to open the ninth inning was among the highlights as Cleveland ended a three-match losing run, including heavy defeats to the Red Sox and Twins.

The Twins had won their previous four games, beating the Guardians 11-1 at Progressive Field on Monday.
