Baltimore Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta is ruling nothing out when it comes to the future of tight end Mark Andrews.
Andrews is entering the final year of a four-year, $56 million contract and has been the subject of trade speculation ahead of next week’s NFL Draft.
A three-time Pro Bowler and All-Pro in 2021, Andrews caught 11 touchdown receptions last season. However, he averaged just 39.6 receiving yards per game, the lowest tally of his career since his rookie year in 2018.
He also committed a key drop of a two-point conversion reception that would have tied the Ravens’ AFC Divisional Round playoff matchup with the Buffalo Bills at 27-27 with 1:33 remaining in the fourth quarter. Baltimore suffered a heartbreaking 27-25 defeat.
The two-point conversion is no good 😳

Asked if he expected Andrews to remain with the team, DeCosta told a pre-draft news conference: “I never know what’s going to happen.
“And I would never want to say this or that. But I can tell you this: Mark Andrews is a warrior. He’s played his butt off for us.”
DeCosta added of the 29-year-old: “His competitiveness, his talent, his attitude, his leadership is so valued here.
“He’s a great player. And I think we’re in the business of keeping as many great players as we can. So, there’s always a lot of unpredictability with the draft. You just never know.”
The Ravens have an ascending talent at tight end in the form of Isaiah Likely, who last season caught six touchdowns and had 26 of his 42 receptions go for a first down.
Andrews carries a $16.9 million cap hit in 2025 and the Ravens can save $11 million against the cap by trading him.
The Ravens have 11 picks in the 2025 draft, which is deep at several positions including tight end, with the potential for Baltimore to restock the depth chart potentially serving as motivation for them to move on from Andrews.
